This movie is very meaningful in the history of movie. The reason it is the first movie which has sound. Also, it can be called "first musical movie". Before this movie, several movies was full of sing without script. 'THe Jazz Singer' is huge different from before. I think at that time when this movie made that jazz was very rare part to people even though the word of "jazz singer". I am not usually enjoyed watching old movie, but it was very interesting. It was not bored. The story in movie is very simple. A father wanted to keep their traditional , but the son, Jack wanted to be a jazz singer and aginst his father. As a result, Jack left his father for a long time, but when his father was sick, Jack joined his family's traditional ceremony that father wanted to do it. Jack had a risk for joining it, however,he can re-gained his family again and achived his dream.
In the movie, the jazz singer was very good at singing. He was like real singer. This movie very meaningful in history of hollywood movie, also I really like it. My dream was a movie music director when I was in high school. So , I am very interested in musical movie. The story is simple, but it became to me lots of means.
